Community

The tech community in Waterloo Region has been blessed with an abundance of opportunity, but it comes at a cost. With the Region's demographics changing rapidly and tech companies speeding up gentrification, we need to ensure that everyone in the community shares in that success.

We've partnered with The Working Centre for this event. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to supporting their efforts to make downtown inclusive for everyone.

The Working Centre is running a campaign to raise $1 Million to purchase and renovate 18 units of housing, and ensure that resources are available to create additional housing units by rebuilding their housing reserve. It will also provide additional capacity to support mental health, emotional, and addiction issues experienced by residents.
